Welcome to the Hellenic Cognitive Science Society!

The Hellenic Cognitive Science Society (HCogSciS) was founded in 2004 for the purpose of promoting the scientific understanding of the cognitive sciences in Greece. HCogSciS also aims to increase public understanding of Cognitive Science, improve the teaching of cognitive sciences, and provide guidance for research planners and funders concerning the importance and potential of current cognitive science developments and future directions.

HCogSciS is related to the Interdisciplinary Program of Graduate Studies in Basic and Applied Cognitive Science (University of Athens) and to the Journal ΝΟΗΣΙΣ/Cognition.

ΝΟΗΣΙΣ: The journal of HCSS

The HCogSciS and the Cognitive Science Society organized the EuroCogSci07 Conference (the European regional Cognitive Science Conference) which was held in Delphi, Greece on May 23-27, 2007.

Program Chairs were Stella Vosniadou, President of the HCogSciS, and Daniel Kayser.
